A thousand times better than a soundbar. A pair of these and a subwoofer is all you need. They turn on and off with the TV and give you great sound.

Trying to figure out how slick this really is, 3C seems to suggest the price is about just under 400 over the last few months, and in late '23 generally around this price, am I reading it right?

Truthfully, it's not a great deal. The predecessor, which is nearly identical except for a really crappy remote, R-15pm sold for $170 regularly which was a solid price.

I've had 3 pair of the R-15pm and one of the R-51pm and there no substantial difference. They are decent but lack HDMI ARC/eARC.

Best deal I've seen in a while. My old roommate bought a set back in 2021 from BestBuy for $275 and that was for the 41PM. I've been looking for the same deal since and nothing close to it until I've seen this unless I haven't been looking hard enough.

I had these speaker for about 3 years. I use them in my home office. Paired with a subwoofer these are perfect.

Though Bluetooth connection to TV is possible, I would not recommend it. There will be a slight lag, not bad, but enough to cause annoying lip sync issues. Better to connect them with your TV's optical out, and use the Bluetooth for streaming music from your phone or computer.

And to connect the speakers to each other - speaker wire. The wire included in the box should be more than enough for more setups, but you can always buy your own longer runs of higher gauge wire if you need more range. Think of these as functionally a traditional amp/receiver and dual speaker setup, except the amp is built into the back of one of the speakers.
