Don't listen to this guy. I looked at the MSDS and the only 'hazardous' ingredients are citric acid and alcohol. This also shouldn't leave a residue.

in my experience with these, they do a good job but make sure your dishwasher is set to high temp wash or the plug of the unit wont dissolve and the cleaner wont dispense.

Ordered one.

I got one last time it was on Slick Deals. Seems to work good. I wouldn't pay 5 bucks for this (would use a cup of vinegar), but for $1.75 I'll be a repeat buyer.

Me... every few months... but it depends on how often you run your washer and how "dirty" it gets. I'm going to give one of these to my sister because I saw her washer and it looked like she could definitely use it.... lol
