If you have to pick one, I'd avoid the ozark trail growler. The carrying handle ring is attached to the lid by a tiny hinge, which means that the tiny rod of metal in the hinge (prob close to the size of a 0.9mm mech pencil lead) and little plastic coupler is supporting 4.17 pounds of liquid. The plastic holding that metal rod in the tiny hinge will not last.
Best thing to do is get a durable carrying pouch with handle, something like what Iron Infidel makes.

So a company known for making high-quality plastic phone cases, that specializes in waterproof, or a company that makes low-quality plastic everything, specializing in falling apart. Think I'll go with the otter box.

There r pros and cons. The handle in the lid keeps the unit as slim as possible if ur putting in a smaller cooler or putting with other items. A side handle makes much easier to carry and pour. But takes up more room.

I have the Ozark trail but when I got mine years ago they sold a chug lid and it's much better than the one that comes with it. I didn't see those in stores anymore but that option is great
