I have a similar lure, I think it's one of the lures that catches fisherman more than fish.

In theory, it has a spot. It's a nest raider, so if you have a spawning bass that is protecting its nest, it seems ideal. But you'll basically have to be right above it, and coax it into biting. If you're going that far, pretty much anything will work.

Just my two cents.
