i used to play this game in 1992 when i was 4 years old. i would sit on my dads lap while he directed the character and i shot. killing nazis was one of my fondest memories as a child
Haven't played any of the modern Wolf games, do they play similar to modern DOOM?
Very action heavy so not really like Doom 3, not like Doom 2016 / Eternal either because there is little to no jump puzzles. Shooting mechanics are similar to modern Dooms though.
All the new Wolfenstein's are really good and not a cookie cutter shooter either. Expect a thin, R rated, and over the top story and everything in the game needs to be killed.
Edit: This might seem like a weird comparison but Borderlands might be the closest similar game (in terms of pure gameplay) minus the complete lack of loot drops and RPG elements. Oh, and Wolfenstein is truly linear and not lighthearted at all. So exactly the same but completely different
Was skeptical at first when I got the game with a previous deal roughly eight months ago, but it plays good enough on handheld mode for switch. Have not tried when docked, but for probably 80% of the time, it's great. Long range attacks (which are limited even on consoles) are rough, but other than that, still holds up well.
Just wanted to mention that I love the game and played through multiple times on PS4, and on Switch, it's good enough.
At this price, def worth it
