Considering these use magnetic levitation as opposed to ball bearings these are going to be quiet and this is a great price for them

I missed out on these the last time they were on sale. I think they were $14 or $15 a pop about a month ago and I slept too long. Just bought 3 of them. I just noticed the price drop again and came here to see if anyone else posted the deal first. You beat me to it. Good find. I'd been checking in every couple of days, and sure enough!

Thanks!

I have this fan as an intake on a SilverStone Sugo ITX case. This is an excellent fan.

Maglev doesn't automatically mean quiet, as fans get loud at sufficient rpms regardless of bearing type. But yeah at low speeds you might not hear certain sounds you might with ball bearings. I use Corsair ML120s and they get obnoxious at their full 2400rpm, so I manually lowered the curve, quite significantly.

I got two of these a few months ago at a similar price, they are quiet, and I'm sensitive to sound.

Would one of these be sufficient on a CPU Cooler? Specifically for a 5800x3D? its a hot chip so the current fan is constantly kicking on and off and its quite loud.

Coulda fooled me the old Corsair ML120 first gen were Awful - Noise wise at anything above 40%. Often the noise you hear is air passing though friction - Doesn't always have to do with bearings or lack of Smilie
