Fyi this phone will get OS updates till 2025 and security updates till 2026
Had to log in and comment on this one. Buyer beware. I had been a OnePlus devotee back to the 6. I upgraded from my 8 to this 10T last year, thinking the specs were fantastic for the price. The performance was terrible - graphically-intensive games and apps stuttered horribly no matter how low I dropped the settings. I spoke to OnePlus customer support several times but they were of no help other than suggesting factory resets (which I did several times). I even took the phone back and exchanged it for a new one - same issues. Meanwhile, my old OnePlus 6 was running the exact same apps flawlessly at 60fps side by side with the new 10T while it stuttered trying to keep up 30fps.

They may have done some firmware updates since to correct this, but I ended up returning the second one 10T and getting an S23.
Asus doesn't do deals on their phones. Just mild discounts.

It might be a case of the vocal minority situation here, but I've seen heaps of people on various Slickdeals and Reddit threads express the preference to buy a smaller sized phone.

(I guess there might be equally or more folks who'd think that's strange)

But whatever statistics market analysis that all the phone companies are doing, either the data says it all and people generally speaking, don't purchase small form factor phones in general, for companies to justify keep manufacturing them in sufficient quantities to make a profit.

Or the company analysts botched their data(which, can't be true for ALL the companies, so I'm leaning on the data supporting large phone trend)
Apple ended their mini line. But there's still people that prefer 5.4-5.8inch phones (I'm one of them too)

I gave up on OP after 7 Pro, the products arent getting the support that they used to, software updates basically never happen and the products just arent worth investing in anymore. My whole family owned every one plus model starting from the crowd funding from the original One Plus 1 all the way to the 7 pro and it became more apparent over the years that you started losing more and more. Its a decent price and they do buy backs frequently as credit for an upgrade but I think the user experience is increasingly poor to the point where i dont want to use my phone anymore. I think its wild that they still hold on to the Never Settle branding when i think everyone knows that they've 100% settled.
I have to agree with you. This isn't a comment on this deal in particular but rather the current state of OnePlus. Have a 16gb 12 coming from a 7pro and a 5t before that and I am pretty disappointed. Loved my 5t, liked my 7pro, and meh about the 12. Very infuriating notification bugs (notifs disappear from lock screen, contact names are duplicated on message notifs, etc). 16gb of ram is overkill but the OP 12 does not perform much better than the 12gb OP 7pro. It's 3 steps forward, 2 steps back. So while there are nice upgrades such as cameras and ir blaster, why tf am I having to compromise with something like notifications?

And by OS updates they mean just 1 more that you'll update to and it will bug out the whole system right before they stop supporting it.

Does one plus work on other networks outside US? I want to know if it works for carriers in India.

I'm currently using OnePlus Indian version in the US. No issues. I believe it will work

10T doesn't support Lineage, big bummer. Unless you need 5G, the snapdragon 865 is still king for me.

I went from a 6 to 10T about 6 months ago and have not experienced this at all. This phone is buttery smooth and the charging time is crazy crazy fast

If it is available in your region, Poco x6 pro annahilates this thing. This is just a joke compared to that thing. Poco is a sub-brand by Xiaomi by the way and quality control issues are very rare at the moment on the x6 pro

Are you sure?? Even the Moto edge phones have lineage and they have snapdragon CPUs.

Edit: it does exist

That's an unofficial LineageOS build. Huge difference in quality. Official builds have to be daily driver quality.

LineageOS really has left the US market behind aside from Pixel support. It's sad. They got political and good people quit.

State of Android as an open platform is in shambles, to be realistic about it.

I use Sony Compact and iPhone SE. LineageOS keeps the Androids going, and iPhone SE3 bought us seven years. They can take small phones from my small dead hands.

They were until Oppo took over. This is why OnePlus's founder left China to make Nothing Phone.
