Great card for groceries, if they send you an invite code via physical mail (no clue how they got my info...maybe Credit Karma?) you only have to spend 750 for the 200 back.

I'd definitely be asking for a credit line increase. I've had the Double Cash for years. Just got approved for the Custom Cash. They gave me a $7400 limit.
i've been asking and they kept telling me the card wasn't open long enough, and just now when i was approved for one via the website CLI flow, it was increased only by another $500 to $1000.

meanwhile my other two cards, double cash and costco card, when I ask for a CLI it goes up by several K

doesn't make any sense

Do Costco and Sam's count as grocery and Costco/Sams gas counts as Gas?

This is essentially what I use it for since my wells fargo autograph visa card has three percent back on most major categories, except for groceries
td cash card has 3% on your fav. category (groceries included) and 2% on the next category.

NO SPENDING/CASHBACK LIMIT

5% is higher than 3%... also TD cash you only get 3% on your chosen two categories. Still, maybe a good supplement card to something like Autograph

And I thought Capital One giving me $2K on the Venture was bad. I think Citi gave me about $6K on this card two years ago.

It's good practice to keep limit low. It won't help your credit score because of the percentage of utilization area but it will help with keeping you out of trouble since you can only carry a low balance

I have an 830 credit score with some cards having a $20K credit limit, no issue with paying bills here. The issue is that with such a low limit, it's difficult to take advantage of specific purchase type perks because they can cost more than such a low limit.

citi card
"Earn 5% cash back on purchases in your top eligible spend category each billing cycle, up to the first $500 spent, 1% cash back thereafter."

td card is unlimited so if you spend $1000 your making more on the td

Is the highest spend categories for 5% cashback determined every month ? If so will it be changed in subsequent billing cycles? Citi says once highest spend category is determined based on the spends, it won't be changed for billing cycle. Quite confused here .
