even as a non-dirt fan (NASCAR fan myself) I found this game a ton of fun. They managed to do a great job of getting the physics right, which is hard to do if you know how the pros drive dirt cards in real life.
Highly recommend if you're into dirt racing, but also if you want to try something new.

This apartment building has a locked door. It means I have to get up, unlock and put a note on the door and try to keep everyone from locking the door. One time 3 different people locked the door. It's just a big PITA.
It's worth it to me to pay $7.50 for the game so I don't have to deal with the BS.
FWIW I still have cd copies of dirt track racing, DTR sprint cars and DTR 2 for the PC. They were seriously fun games if your into dirt racing.

I'm a racer and don't have much time to play games but grabbed the Switch version of these for $30 back around Christmas time. I absolutely love this game. My only complaint is the load time in career mode. When you first open career mode it feels like the game locked up but eventually opens up. Past that load times are quick. Coming from a dirt racer, this game is a lot of fun with quite a bit of accurate physics. It was created thru iracing which explains some of the accuracy. Wish I could say I bought for this price but happy enough at $30
I watched the video and I thought it is not for me. It just a circular track to race for 1st place. I was expecting more variation as far as track goes. Like Top Gear from SNES and or Horizon Chase Turbo for last/current gen console.
I like the graphic and the variety of cars however I am afraid I will get bored sooner than later. I think I'll pass. Sry mate.

Now that I think about it from that perspective, I get it.
At first it felt like one of those cheap cash grab games, but now I get it
