Do you have to use the app to do this deal or can I just come in like I always have and scan my card and hand them whatever I'm recycling?

I wonder if your recycled for the month (ending 4/20) already, if you can still recycle? Will this be a separate activation?

Yes, you can. I have been using my ancient Staples reward card without missing anything. But sometimes I use the app as well. So far I like their new rewards program. I can accumulate my points without worrying about expiration. Plus, as soon as you recycle the stuff, the points show up in your account within a couple of minutes for me to verify.

From my experience, Staples will only count one recycle activity (usually the very first one) per calendar month. But never hurt to try.

Yes, you can apply points to online purchases. No issues.

Based on how the Staples staff has explained to me, it is although I have not redeemed any of my points so far.

Last month when i recycled my stuff, I noticed one of the two coupons on my receipt showing a $10 off $30 in store purchase had an expiration date as 12/31/2024 while the second coupon showing an in store $10 off $30 expiring on the same day I recycled. Nice bonus to use along with the rewards points. In the past, I was able to use the coupon and the rewards togather.

Thanks , I now see where I need to "Activate" my Easy Rewards Offers in my account. So these offers need to be activated in your account to be able to get the points for them. Nice that they are still printing the $10 off $30 coupons.

It should be since the 1,000 pt offer expires 04/20. Just make sure you activate it in your account.

I was about to give up on Staples. I had to "chat" several times this week about missing "points" None of my March recycling posted. It required a chat, a email, a verification text to my phone and a phone call. It was too much for me and I was about to call it quits with the new program untill I saw a 50% back in rewards on a toner cartridge I needed. I figured what the heck, I have other points and feb rewards I could add to a purchace later this month before the Feb rewards expire April 30). It was Monday and my email and a text offered the deal. When I clicked the link I saw the offer with a "activate offer buttun. I did. After confirming what cartridge I needed I put it in my cart a few hours later and checked out. I was expecting $30+ more rewards today, only to find $6. ARGGGGGG another chat AGAIN! in the same week!

The chat session suposedly was sucsessful as they said they would honer the deal when I asked if I needed to return and rebuy. It seems you must activate these "offers" in the same web page session. I figured that if you respond to the e-mail and text, it would stick to your account for the duration of the offer.

I would be oh so carfull in keeping track of these points. The good news they said rewards nolonger expire as long as your account is a active. I asked what active ment, and was told 180 days. So I would guess you could pile up a bunch of rewards for next BF. That is my plan.

If you read the details on the recycling, it says recycling is limited to one per calendar month.

That's how I understand it as well. I've learned to just wait till the end of the month to recycle at staples for this very reason.
