Sure, but like lots of things in life, the reality seems to differ. I always seem to get credit for everything I throw in the envelope even if it's been several months. My guess is that because it takes THEM a while to process these, they don't bother really adhering to some "mailing date" because 1) there can be delays in the mail and 2) that would require them to track receipt and process very quickly on their end so a customer submission didn't 'time out' while sitting at their facility. Yes if I had a meaningful one like 20 dollars I might make sure to send it immediately but when I get them for 92 cents or whatever, I'm not rushing to take an envelope, take the time to sit down and print out the form, and slap a 68 cent stamp on it and walk it over to the blue mailbox a couple blocks away. I will wait and collect a handful of those first and do it all at once

Not true...I have Kirkland 0W-20 sitting in my garage.

also this price is really 19 bucks and change, and gets to 16.99 via the 11% rebate which is Menards store credit. again not a bad deal if you are a Menards shopper and will use the rebate another time

Kirkland is of course a good buy at $15 a jug, but only one flavor (5w20) and not all SD peeps have memberships. Can't beat Pennzoil in my experience.

You are correct on both fronts, thanks for clarifying! 1. Costco sells other weights. However, today at the 48302 warehouse, the only type they have in stock for take-home is 5W-20; which is in stock. BUT, you need to buy the box of 2 jugs, 10 quarts, and spend $30. A very good price, if you have club access, want to buy 10 quarts, and can use this type. 2. Menards price is really $19. I bought 6 jugs yesterday and already filed my rebate - I am a regular, so my net price truly is $17, as I will rotate the rebate money as soon it comes in. Thanks again!

Yes I do lots of Menards rebates too. I usually wait 3 or 4 months to collect some and then mail all in one envelope. Yes it is "good as cash" if you shop at Menards from time to time and don't forget your postcard

Correct, Menards is not on approved retailer rebate list. But neither is the formulation of Pennzoil synthetic oil. This is just "regular" full synthetic. Rebate would seem to need to be "Platinum" synthetic.

This oil is not up to Dexos specs, does anyone know if it reallllly matters? I was told to only put Dexos spec oil in my 2015 Silverado

What you said. Just about to comment same. The Kirkland (which my store has 0-20, 5-20 and 5-30) is dexos 1 gen 3. Someone smarter than me tell me if the fact this Pennzoil isn't is a true differentiator?

I'm still getting the Kirkland over this as it's less expensive, without me having to hassle with submitting a (snail mail paper) rebate, but...inquiring minds would like to know.

All of my Menards sales receipts have a "final mailing date" printed on the rebate receipt, which is about 30 days from date of purchase.

Same here. Have sent "batches" in that have had some 6 months+ old, several over a yr. All processed, store credit issued.

I wish menards would allow rebate credit to be used online. I much prefer to order lumber online and then use the gate slip to just head out back to the lumber yard without having to go in the store.
