Be very careful with these. I bought a Hover-1 brand, and it exploded, resulting in huge flames in my house. Luckily, we didn't charge it overnight while asleep.

there's a review for this specific one that says they bought an off brand and the battery is better. so I'm not sure.

Charge these things while you're home, awake, and make sure the charger stops charging once full.

To be fair, all hoverboard manuals very clearly say to charge under supervision, to immediately unplug when completed, and to stop using the product if it becomes hot to the touch while charging. The same precautions are needed when charging LiPo batteries, but that doesn't stop people from blowing up their RC cars.

I think it is a problem to all of these regardless of brand. I bought a razor that i didn't open until after a year. The hoverboard started smoking and there was some caustic substance leaking from it. Never thought it was a potential hazard but now I know.

We have the prizma and it's still going strong after almost two years. It's much better than three previous ones we've had

Do those electric scooters have same issues?
