Last fall I tried the mid-sized version of these shoes, which I think had waterproof in the title/name. They definitely did not feel wide, and I ended up sending them back. Because Columbia charges for return shipping, I'm not willing to take another chance on similar shoes from them.

I was tempted to buy these, but reviews on Amazon state that even the wide version runs narrow. I bought New Balance hiking shoes and boots for years, and now the new designs look bizarre, so I've been searching for an alternative for wide feet. I don't think these are it.

You can avoid the charges by returning them to a store. Click on store locator- you'll see that you can return it to Sports Basement, etc.

I've had these shoes for a little over a year now. As others stated the wide isn't as wide as others but not enough to send it back. These shoes provide good arch support and do not slip. They're light and durable for hiking. Haven't seen any weak points since purchasing.

Does the 10% off new customer stack with the code?

Wow, that's great info. Thanks. I've never seen where you can return to so many different retailers

Wow, mountain hardware too? .. I assume the quality of MH will decrease, too bad. I have lots of mountain hardware gear that has lasted throughout the ages.
