Finally settled on a cordless framing nailer with the Metabo 18V. Shipping was free and I figure the two extra batteries will cover any battery longevity issues with an 18V (if there are any).
I bought my 30° framing nailer (tool only) from Toolbarn (no longer selling online) last year for $189.
I started framing basement last month. I compared all other nailers on market, the air compressor ones weigh about 6-7lbs. Battery ones 9-10lbs. This is about 10 lbs.
I am a diy, for me weight isn't an issue vs all othet stuff i need to move around and I only frame couple times a week.
Battery helds very well, I think I nailed 300+ nails and haven't seen battery gone down.
it's very fast, got burst mode, its air if you ever need to refill, comes with good warranty.
Shared my personal experience on 30° nailer. With 4ah and 2x3ah, the price is very good as just tool costs $329 for quite sometime I tracked.
