I agree with the other poster, outlets spread out more would have been great but 10 ft cord is awesome.

My Walmart+ is getting a work out over the last couple of days with these deals.
Great deal for a 10 foot cord. They really should have spaced the outlets further apart, but you can't beat the price, especially considering it actually has surge protection as well and from a reputable company with a lifetime warranty.

Needed one, tempted to start a trial, but feels like such a waste just for this...
You only need one surge supressor, this just means you need to buy more electronics from Slickdeals!

You know they don't last forever right, once they absorb the surges they are rated for they just become power strips and need to be replaced!

What other best deal you got ?
lets see I got the moving cart for $39 and 12 rechargeable LED flashlights for $30. They were 2 pack of flashlights for $6 so I bought 6 to get me to free shipping. That should cover me for surge supressors and flashlights for the near future lol ! Although just about everytime my wife goes to Walmart to get some groceries I ask her to grab another extension cord or flashlight and I was starting to get into trouble for it so my addictions should be satiated for a bit now ! Although she brought back a couple of the elcheapo walmart special surge supressors with 1 foot cords which are absolutly useless Frown which is part of the reason I need more still lol .

Great price for a relatively decent power strip from a reputable brand IMO. I'm in for 7 at around $28 shipped; thanks OP.

If you use 1 foot extension cords [monoprice.com] outlet spacing will not be an issue. I can't get enough of those little buggers; they are great for cord organization and saving space when plugging in power bricks.

Yep I never seem to have enough even though I keep buying more all the time. They are handy that's for sure!

In case anyone lurking knows, vaguely related, when I have four fans going there is too much "electrical noise" even with these kinds of better surge protectors which obviously don't do any filtering.

Is there something cheap I can buy to filter electrical noise from all the fans?

It's so bad it affects the wifi at times.

Mine has a label that says "when the protection expires... power is automatically disconnected and time to buy a new GE surge protector" is that basically saying if the circuit trips since there's no reset button we'll just need to buy a new one?

Your outlet might not be well grounded or grounded at all.

That said, four fans running off a single circuit is a recipe for electrostatic build up, which can cause way worse problems to other equipment than just some noise and wifi interference. I'd suggest splitting up the load to a different circuit if possible.

Good find, never seen that before. I assumed most surge protectors turn into dumb power strips when the surge protection fails. Apparently this one self destructs. If surge protection is your primary use case then that could be an advantage, but if you just want multiple outlets than it would be annoying.

It means the surge protector doesn't have protection anymore if protection fails and you need to buy a new surge protector if you need protection. It can still be used as a power strip.

Does this one have lights on the switch to indicate if the surge protection is still working?
