This is about the same/ slightly better discount compared to a week ago when Newegg had the 15% off 3 item bundle purchase. Expect this one you don't have to buy parts you don't need. Trade off is you need to use zip

Clearing out stock for the 8800XT which is said to be 40% faster for the same $499 in Q3 and the 8700XT at 15% faster for $399 in Q3/Q4.

Yep it's the typical steps electronic stores do to get rid of stuff. First they bundle, then they sell a la carte at a lower price without the bundles.

Care to share your source? I hope your right, but every source who I find to be reliable has said otherwise, more like 25ish% faster for the 8800xt bringing it up to a 7900 xt lvl. If it was 40% faster, that would be a tad faster than a 7900 xtx

And likely a paper release for marketing purposes. IMHO we won't see cards on the shelves till Q1/Q2 2025

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N...kLg&t=243s The guy has 115k+ subscribers and mentions the site Moore's Law is Dead so it seems like it could be legit. His diagrams show it still being slightly slower than the 7900 xtx. Will have to wait and see.

We all have our own definition of what makes a good youtuber. I consider him alright at 115k+ subscribers and him getting his info from Moore's Law. We shall see in the end what his credibility is or is not depending on performance and when the product is released.
