How is stating a fact that this product is made in China (and nearly all the ones named like this are as well) racist?

But hey, as long as you're "pretty sure".

These are not terrible cameras, there are much worse out there, but fact of the matter is these random generic names last until the products start failing or they get sued over something, at which point they change to a different name. They trademark and get web domains en masse and just cycle through them over time. Some of the better ones may last a year or two, others a month.

The reason the names are so random and nonsensical is they are required to trademark to sell on amazon, walmart, etc, and it is much easier to trademark gibberish than actual words, especially when you need to frequently change your name.

Look at their website, all cameras are sold out and they don't even list this one. They are in the process of closing up shop.

Not much of a review but I got something like this from Nexpow last year and I sent it back. It has a cigarette lighter power source, plus you can't see anything while you're driving, if there is a screen it's minimal. And it's SD storage based so you have to remove it and download the videos to review. I have a really old simple camera and wanted to upgrade, but I preferred what I had to this. Would NOT recommend it.

20FPS isn't going to cut it, among other reasons why this is a bad Idea.

Didn't know Nexpow is into dash cams, all they had were jump starter packs.

if this doesn't have some simple and fast transfer via WIFI to your phone, you are never going to pull that sd card unless u had an accident or something major
Honest question, why would you need to pull the card and check if nothing happened?

Why is this getting thumbs up?

You're basically describing every dash cam on the market.

If you need an "action" camera like a GoPro, you're in the wrong category.

That's precisely how everyone uses dash cams, including the ones that are integrated into the vehicle.

Unless there's a reason to pull footage, there's no reason to touch it.

I think many of you are confusing this for an "action" camera, which this is not.

That was my thinking but someone else pointed out in the thread that right after an accident it would be convenient for on-site review by the police officer (if one is called). If the other driver is flat out lying and there are no other witnesses, it could save you a lot of trouble to prove your side right there and then with video review before tickets are written. Then again, I think it's likely the police car would have a laptop or tablet that can pull up the footage off the card.... Then again, it would be a dumb security policy to allow foreign memory cards into official devices...am I rambling?

Have you been in an accident?

Cops don't review footage on the scene. With how lazy they are, you're lucky they take statements. And tickets are only written if there's a clear traffic violation.

The footage is for your insurance company first and foremost.

4K is good but just 1 camera? for this prices or low we can get 4 cameras set front, back, two sides camera set i guess in temu.com
Sure seems like there's a lot of Temu shills coming out of the woodwork this weekend.

This is two cameras, as clearly described in the listing.

If you think you can get a single true 4K dash cam for under $40, let alone whatever nonsense you're talking about, that has all of these features and a Sony sensor, go for it.
