Reviews seem to indicate the foam is glued in and you may have to tear it out.

Lots of complaints about the glue. Some say not enough glue, some say the glue turned into goop and gets sticky.

It looks like the glue is around the outer rim. There's a number of pictures of people who have ripped their foam out and it looks okay. It's also possible to razor-knife an edge around the entire case, which would be useful in my case. Be sure to look at the international review pictures, as that's where most of the modders are.

It's okay as I have one somewhere that I don't use but I would prefer a waterproof hardcase.

I bought this exact case in 2019 for $16. Have not had any issues holding my two GoPros, spare batteries, mounts and the suction mount.

Yes, the foam is glued in and will tear apart if you attempt to remove it. These cases are designed exclusively for GoPro equipment. They're not intended to be used for any other purposes, although you can get creative if you'd like. Just don't try to reconfigure it, and the glue will be of no consequence.

Nice, I almost got this the other day at full price and have a trip coming up I was going to take both my GoPros on. I'll probably still get some new foam for one of my big Pelicans if I want to take just a ton of accessories, but this looks like it'll cover me 99% of the time.
