I chose to do a 1 pay lease and just pay everything at signing. I also had offers for roughly the same total price with $0 down $254 per month, $1k down $207 per month, and $2k down $161 per month. Admittedly those are slightly better than the $6k upfront but they didn't come with the extra $2k in options which I chose to use on lease end protection and tire/wheel protection

That's correct. Texas requires you to pay sales tax on the full price of the car and not just the lease payment.

Yep, electric is really going downhill these days quickly. Will be surprised to see EVs last much longer. Even the charging networks are falling apart too.

I think OP is adding in a colorado state credit of $5000? The only other place i know that gives a credit like that is like MA but thats' a rebate check i think?

How much is free charging for 24 months worth? $2400? but then again i'm already getting free charging.. so that's not saving me any money personally.. but i am curious what it's worth... vs the average consumer charging at home?

I think it's better to put $6k towards a used bolt (or volt, or i3 rex) depending on your needs..you'll have an EV longer than 2 years for less money.

I'm looking for something with more range than my egolf but the deal has to be right. So right now trying to find one of those 10k bolts with 20k miles or less preferably premier.

I went to look at one of these during the pandemic., during the craze. They added $20k to the sticker. _____ the dealers. Glad to see their margins dwindling and inventory raising.
