I chose to do a 1 pay lease and just pay everything at signing. I also had offers for roughly the same total price with $0 down $254 per month, $1k down $207 per month, and $2k down $161 per month. Admittedly those are slightly better than the $6k upfront but they didn't come with the extra $2k in options which I chose to use on lease end protection and tire/wheel protection

My tax rate is 8.2% which applies to the rebate amount too and brought the total tax to about $1700 of the $6k I paid.

Also forgot to mention the GAP coverage is included as well.

I'm also in Denver looking into the deal. So OP your final numbers were - $225 x 24 = $5,400 + 8.6% tax?

How much are you paying for insurance per month?

No the total of the actual "lease payments" excluding taxes and fees was $4388.16. Adding all taxes and fees brought it to $6006.62 which I chose to just pay off all at once so I have no monthly payments now.

Taxes went up about $1k per year compared to a CR-V.

It has a 12,000 miles per year limit, then it's $0.20 per mile over that. So driving it 40k miles a year will cost an additional $5600.
