I chose to do a 1 pay lease and just pay everything at signing. I also had offers for roughly the same total price with $0 down $254 per month, $1k down $207 per month, and $2k down $161 per month. Admittedly those are slightly better than the $6k upfront but they didn't come with the extra $2k in options which I chose to use on lease end protection and tire/wheel protection

I am waiting for a Mr Fusion.

Electric cars are heavier and full of toxins - niche market at best. As a firefighter we are taught they are nearly impossible to put out once on fire too. Fun stuff.​

with stand alone car insurance (not combined with any other boat/mortgage house insurance), there is no such deal for an electric vehicle unless you already paid a lot upfront for the past 20+ years. yes, people can have some deep discounts if they combined with their home insurance and pay a lot for many years before that. and living in the middle of the wood where there is no chance of hit and run or accident and driving under 2000 miles a year.


I think there are some factors for your cheap ev insurance. they think your polestar with the penny stock status isn't going to be worth anything soon so theyre glad to let the brick running on the road for cheap.
Yes I posted after this, I live in New Hampshire, so yes that's why it's so cheap, but it's not any more expensive than a gas car, at least not in my experience. Same when we lived in the city. Insurance was 3x as much but still comparable to our gas car. The $700 is just for the Polestar btw, for both cars we pay $1400, and yes we also have homeowners insurance and an umbrella policy through State Farm as well, so there is a small discount for that.

While not the fastest EV, 0 to 60 in 4.4 isn't bad. the price and charging included is a deal for the right person. It's cheaper than renting a Hertz rental.

I know someone from Philly who got it the 2024 non performance one for $241 with zero down from a Virginia dealer through a lease broker after incentives - darn insurance is $500 though - nice car lots of leg space
