Yes, same as other ps4 disc games, insert the disc and likely have to go to ps store to download the ps5 version of the game. And to run that downloaded ps5 version will have to always have disc inserted. On the back of the box it shows upgrade to ps5 version at no additional cost…..

Really fun game, super gory, but crunchy gameplay in a fun world: my one complaint — there is no difficulty selection. I am stuck on a boss (psychotic clown) that I've attempted to beat 20 times (at least) with no success.
