Eat to live don't live to eat. There are plenty of other places that grow coffee beans. Prices might fluctuate a little but it's not going to be crazy. Might have to change brands but honestly not a big deal.

$3.61 / pound . I think that's around Aldi's regular price.

I usually buy the 10oz brick and they're in a vacuum plastic foil wrapper
and stay in a tight brick form until you open them and hear the air rush in.

The use by date has always been way into the future.

Quote from 4u2c :
Arabica coffee futures soared to $2.5 per pound, reaching fresh 18-month highs, amid worries that extensive rainfall in Brazil's coffee-growing zones might have inflicted harm on coffee crops. Moreover, the Vietnam Coffee Association hinted at a possible 20% annual drop in the nation's coffee exports for the 2023/2024 period. The association further forecasted a corresponding 20% decline in Vietnam's coffee production for the same harvest season, which was estimated at 1,472 MMT, marking the lowest output in four years due to drought conditions.

Do you know if each lb brick is sealed in a way I could store them in the cabinet without future spoilage?

Would take me a little to get through them all and have some beans already open to finish first...

I luv Aldi's and have been shocked at how the prices continue to ratchet up.

Not worth it to me to have to sit on that much when most of the stores around me have it for $3.80 to $4 everyday and sales every now and then. But I only go through a bag a month so ymmv. I'd just be worried it would start to go stale after a year.

Walmart is showing $4 for the 10oz today.

You wouldn't believe me on what they're showing for the 16oz.

This is my husbands favorite and I purchased this 2 years ago and it stays fresh in those sealed bags as long as they don't get a hole poked in them or the package is compromised. I never had a problem with them though. Hope that helps?
