Just tried with mine and it didn't work. Even got the begins on May 2 and billed on July two. Hit the TouchID (yep, still on that device) and it said it wasn't eligible with my current subscription, which is a trial.

The offer can't be redeemed with my current subscription.

I have standard $9.99/mo subscription. I tried unsubscribing without success. I have redeemed a ton of bestbuy and target freebies in the past. Not sure if that's why.
