No, they didn't. They had an existing 18v line of NiCd tools/batteries with a different stick form factor instead of a slide. When they switched to lithium they wanted to make it clear it was a different system that was incompatible with the old system, and also that the performance of the new chemistry was way better. So they went to "20v max" branding (20v being the nominal voltage of the packs at max charge, 18v being their actual operating voltage).

My 12Ah can barely make it 15 minutes with the 60 volt DeWalt leaf blower
umm... this won't run a 60V tool at all.

do you mean 1/2" impact wrench or 1/4" Impact drvier two different tools two different purposes.
Which one is good for car tires? I think it's the 1/2" impact wrench, thanks!

yes lug nuts would be 1/2" impact wrench.
I would think this would be just fine cause from everything im seeing this is a sprinter not a marathon and you want th impact to hit hard fast and short bursts The only reason you really have to stay on the trigger is if the fastener is extra torques or stuck. You still want it to hit hard and fast. So i would say this would be perfect for the Impact Wrench as long as the Impact wrench has actually enough power and if all your doing is tires you should be fine i have the Walmart HyperTough 12v 3/8" impact wrench and every lugnut i have thrown at it under 140ft lbs it has been fine and for the life of me i only think high end single lug nut vehicles go over 140.

Back in the day they would sell you, cheap, printers, and expensive ink. Now that business model has returned with cheap power tools, and ridiculously expensive batteries. Buy high-quality generics for less than half the cost and you'll be fine. These batteries by nature degrade over time anyway.

for leaf blowers, you want to go for the 8ah XR batteries. sometimes they go on sale for about the same price on places like woot.

leaf blowers will not benefit from powerstacks. these batteries are geared for drills, grinders, impact wrenches. that sort of thing
