There is a glut of "Vine Customer Review of Free Product" in late 2021 and early 2022 which are likely padding the ratings for this thing. I would be extremely skeptical, the more verbose reviews are not good at all.

There are now soldering irons with USB PD, even very cheap ones, that have significantly more power and better, directly heated tips. You can also use them with a power bank if it supports USB power delivery. If I were to buy a portable soldering iron, I would buy one of these.

This thing is a joke, it's powered by AA battery's? Much better off spending a little more - like $10-20 more and getting one with a lithium rechargeable battery - will blow this thing out the water in performance & capability not to mention this probably goes through batteries like water as well. Thank you for post though

There was a time when people considered cheap dollar store soldering irons a JOKE, and those were 30w. This thing is 6-8w ? I imagine frustration will be your constant companion with this soldering iron.
