If you want to split the pizza. If you do 2 toppings on half the pizza, it counts as 1 topping. So you can have 4 toppings and still count as 2 toppings for this offer.
This is a pretty solid deal. I know lots of us still miss the $8 3 topping large carryout deal that was around for more than 10 years, but this is $1 less for one less topping and it's available in 2024.
I used to hate Dominos, but they've improved massively in the last decade or so. Anyway, if you combine deals like these with the 4x$25 gift cards from Costco for $70-80 you're in business and are getting a consistently really good deal when you're in a pinch for dinner.

Anyone else repeatedly getting "an error occurred" when trying to order? Ugh. (via web)
Try calling in to order. The coupon is not working properly for me online (ie reducing the pizza by $7 instead of pricing it at $7).
When I called to confirm if the store in my area accept the coupon, Dominos acknowledged that there's an issue with online ordering using the coupon but they will apply the offer with phone order for carryout.
I got this deal last night and noticed my Dominos had a sign at the register that said "We sell parmesan and red pepper packets". Do all of them charge for this? I usually got them complimentary from other pizza places.

When I tried this the price was $7.99 instead of $6.99 so they charged extra.
the dominos "large" is basically the same size as a small at an actual pizza store.
Any time I've gone recently I know got basically a spoonful of sauce and cheese so I'll pass.
You must live in the enchanted land of large pizzas. Around here (NE US), standard local pizza place sizes are S: 12", M:14," and L: 16." The Domino's large is 14" and would be a M at pretty much every pizza place here

Because some took way to many. So its the 99-1 rule. Most people take what they need if at all. But a few ruined i for everyone else.

Some meats and extra cheese are considered a premium topping, so they cost extra. So you can get 2 toppings on one side and the other. But if any of them are in the "premium" category it will still cost extra.

Nope, my store doesn't charge me for those packets.
Price wise it seems a decent deal. But the amount of cheese Dominos (and probably all major chains) use as an initial layer is ridiculous. No way will you get that cheese pull you see on the commercials with that initial layer. Pretty much forces you to add and buy extra cheese to get a real cheese-based pizza taste.
