Years at the least. Games won't really challenge this unless you're trying to 4k. If one doesn't mind downgrading he resolution, you could probably use this machine for at least 5 (if not 8) years and still have a good experience, if not blazing fast benchmarks.

I also want to stress something else, laptop components and desktop components are very very different. The desktop variants of all processors and GPU's are WAAAAAY stronger.
In short, i7 mobile vs i7 = night and day performance difference.
Furthermore, that 18" is SO huge, it's hardly what I would consider a mobile device. So what's the point?
