Appears to be a rebrand of the Alctron CK6; I've heard good things about the sound, but the sensitivity is pretty low for a condenser, and the self noise is pretty high (22 dB-A), which is probably why they don't list it in the Skylight specs.

I've watched like 3-4 videos on it. It seems to struggle with the higher notes and smoothens out the sounds. I bought it anyways. Podcast and acoustic. Was eye-ing the SM57 but double the price and then have to buy a stand and a pop filter. Will always upgrade later. Ain't doing anything professional.

Should do the trick. Depending on how much echo (reflection) or noise you have in your room, you should be fine. Condensors like this pick that up a little more than a dynamic like the sm57 would.

This is brilliant thanks! Have you been able to find a frequency graph? I haven't. How did you know it was a rebadge alctron?
What popular mic do you think tis compares to?
I'm trying to figure out if I need this flavor in my mic locker or not. I could use a LDC with a smoother high end. I have WA47jr that can be quite harsh on vocals in the high end.
Bought one, can't speak much for sound quality yet, but this thing is built like a tank. I own several other cheaper mics (MXL 990, Schure SM58), and several more expensive mics (Sennheiser MD 421 II, etc.), and this is the sturdiest build I've come across. Metal everything, very handsome matching pop shield which seems to work well.
