Just got back from a three hour tour that would make Gilligan proud and scored the last 65" NIB I could find for $599.99. I originally asked if they had a 55" but the manager said all that remained was the 65". I asked him what was the asking price and he started @ $2k. After about 10 minutes of amicable conversation he said that all of the TVs would be dropping in price AGAIN next week and offered to sell me this one in advance of the markdowns. I absolutely LOVE my 77" in the great room so this one will look fantastic mounted downstairs in the family room. Thanks, slickdeals...!!

Nice! I wish they would have done 30% for the display one I bought. There's another display at the next closest target to me, so I'm hoping it'll go down in price again soon. That store says 50-70% off on TVs, yet it was at $1000 still. Most TVs still on the wall except 1, and all of bottom row, if they even use that one. The store I got mine from said 30%, and had a lot more missing already.

For anyone in the Twin Cities still looking for a deal... COSTCO over in Eagan (Gentian Rd.) had a 48'' (or a 55'' -- I'm not completely sure as I was in a hurry) for $750 what looked like a return. Just one. In the original box but taped closed like a return would be. It was right as you enter the store where the LG stand is (right behind it). It was marked down to $750. It was still there at closing (6pm) this evening.
