According to Lenovo's website, this model number corresponds to the 300 nit IPS panel 45% NTSC. If this is accurate, this is a pretty great deal if you're only doing productivity work. IPS, backlit KB, touchscreen, 11hr battery life, 15W 8-core 👍

Unfortunately, Soldered LPDDR5 means it's NOT upgradable.

I don't see where anyone has been able to confirm it's a TN panel. Even if it is, this is a $250 budget laptop... they had to make some cuts. This would still be a great deal, even with a TN panel.

The Vivobook is only $230, has a faster CPU+iGPU, has upgradeable RAM, better Wifi card, slightly better connectivity, same screen quality, same weight, but it is only 128GB SSD (upgradeable, so ends up being more in the end for 512GB +$35)

also, it's a budget laptop. Just because it's a budget laptop doesn't mean you should buy garbage. This $300 vivobook is amazing

for $30 at the same microcenter your picking the vivobook up from, you can install an additional 16Gb (24GB total) in five mins

This I think is a mistake. Processors tend to be less of a limiting factor for most users than RAM and storage space. I like to take this sub $300 machines stuff at least 16GB and an SSD/m.2 in them and they fly for most people.

People still don't learn. This is Zen 2. RAM or screen isn't the issue. You are better off getting that $350 Elitebook from a Microcenter with Zen 3, metal chassis. 3 year warranty.
