I have been using this plan for 3+ years.

A few things to know.
1. the plan only lasts 360 days, not a year.
2. renew price $30 does not include tax and fee. the tax and fee is about $1 or $2 for me.
3. If you forget to renew it when time is up, you have about 60 days to keep your number. There is an reactive fee of $1 if you forgot to renew the plan. This $1 is not a tax, not a yearly fee. It costs you $1 if you totally forget to renew the plan after 30 days.
You may want to link a credit card on RedPocket account so you get auto renew.

When I know I will have friends / family fly into US, I mail this SIM card out. I tell them to put this SIM card into their unlocked phone and call me when their flight lands at an airport. It saves $$ and make everything simple.

I have this plan and use it to track my two young kids, put it in their backpack and use an old unlocked phone. Using life360 app can tell where they are at all times

Can this GSMT annual plan be installed on an eSIM instead of the physical SIM? I could not find any clear information regarding this. One of the sites mentioned that one needed to buy an eSIM from the Red Pocket website but I could not find it listed there. Any pointers would help.

Is this better than the 3 dollar a month ultramobile plan that gives 100 minutes, 100 text and 100mb a month?


The difference is that one is month to month and you can cancel but this one is 360 days?

You basically answered your own question - this is more than double the allocation, and cheaper per month when averaged.

First activate physical sim with phone then convert to esim using watch imei.

Really? Frontpage! I've been using this for the last 5 years at this price.... Word of advice if you do get a number from them you will get lots of spam text and phone calls intended to previous users. They seem to recirculate the expired numbers right away. Remember to register at donotcall.gov
