AMC Yellow vs Black movie tickets
There are only two differences: Black tickets cost more, and Yellow tickets cannot be used in CA, NY, or NJ.
Black tickets are the premiere ticket type available if you live in California, New York, or New Jersey. If you live in any other state, you should get the yellow ticket!

Can you explain what exactly did you add to cart? I tried 2x1 tix and 1 tix+combo, and 1 tix + 1 tix+combo… both didn't come down to $15
The total cost was 44 for me. The pricing has changed somewhat overnight. As it is I haven't received the tickets yet. Got an email saying they're processing it.
Also, does anyone know the expiration date on these tickets?

You have to pay extra for premium formats ie imax or Dolby with black tickets usually 5-10 extra

Black tickets has the same restrictions as yellow tickets. No Dolby, no imax, etc. Black tickets are for California, New York, New Jersey.
