Yes, for Shipping Address on the new line you can overtype the pre-filled address (pulled from the account).

If you activate the tablet online just after the shipping notification, can you set up the tab without sim card?

I just received a shipping notification for my tablet order. I also activated it online. Can I order another tablet now or wait for it to be delivered?

My second tablet order was also previously opened, one of the seals was cut. Still, brand new otherwise.

To set up the tablet without the SIM card (whether the SIM was activated or not), try the "tapping" trick described in the Wiki.

The resson is that for most google voice numbers, it takes many days to fully port over. Usually, you can make calls on new carrier but can't text.
I think google recently implemented some 2-factor verification process to finish the port out process, and you would receive a text message in original google voice account from number 22000 "xxxxxx is your Messages verification code", and the new carrier needs to enter the 6-digit code to finish the port out process in addition to account/phone number and PIN.
The problem is that carrier like metro never have an established procedure to enter the 6-digit code to finish the port process and they only asks for account/phone number and PIN. Google needs the new carrier verify account/phone number, PIN and a 6-digit verification code for it to release the google voice number and finish the port out process.

I guess after a long time like 10 days, google will eventually let go the voice number and the port out process can complete.

What you explain is correct and helpful, but it's not the problem that PK72 is having. PK72 couldn't receive the 6-digit security code sent by Metro to log into the account. The security code from Metro goes directly to the device, and is different from the typical text message that still goes to GV before a GV number is fully ported to Metro.

Are you able to order another one eventually?

first 2 i actually waited till i received the tab, then activated. opened, inserted sim . placed order for next.

on the 3rd tab. waited till got shipping info. activated while in transit. was hoping to get a moto. but that is currently oos. will get 3rd on monday.
I am waiting for the moto g stylus 5g 2024 from metro.

Below is the consumer cellular version with 4gb ram.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Consum...5410505492

The other specs seem promising: 15W Wireless and 30W Wired charging, 6.7" FHD+ HiD pOLED Screen, Dolby AtmosĀ® sound (stereo), and 50MP Ultra Pixel camera system featuring OIS. The cpu is at least the same level of the snapdragon 6 gen 1 in the 2023 version.
The snapdragon 6 gen 1 is already much better than the snapdragon 695 inside moto g stylus 5g 2022, oneplus n30 and this samsung tab a9+.

Also the bezels are much slimer.
The metro version usually comes with at least 6gb ram and 128GB rom.

So people don't need to get too greedy and abuse the system on a $20 low end tablet and get blocked by metro for future deals.
There will be good deals in the future if you are not blocked/flagged by metro's anti-fraud system.

I have been trying for days with multiple different credit cards to get another tab and it always says I have to call into Metro. I have even been calling in and Metro doesn't understand why I cannot order another tab, anyone have any ideas? I currently have 2 tabs with 2 different data plans, trying to get a 3rd.
