Someone else in another thread said that the phone will unlock in 6 months (that was before the new 1 year requirement kicked in) with only one month active service. Can someone else chime in? Thanks!
Yes even I heard it.
Like we need just a month of service and it automatically unlocks after given days.

Tried calling in and tried through chat to add another tablet line, but both were not able to place an order. This is the error message they got:

Order authorization has failed due to Customer Protection Review. Transaction cannot be processed and will be aborted. Please direct the customer to visit their closest Metro by T-Mobile retail location to complete the purchase.

The only thing I have not tried is going into the store.

You can just ported out the tablet line after you get it. You can get 30 days free service from us mobile by porting in this metro tablet line
good idea. Do you have to reach out to Metro to get the port out pin and account #? I don't see any self-service options.

Thanks. Bummer no port out pin issued if your account is in overdue suspended state.

$110 each for BestBuy GC. I just showed up saying I've a couple trade-ins. They just asked model number and memory. That's all. Got all 4 GCs in 2 different transactions.

what did you give them for model number?

the model is on the back i noticed but in incredibly tiny print. you have to phone photo it and blow it up to even see it. and it's not the same one bb offers trade in for (as we know, thats the wifi model)

They should not asked for address. They can ask for zip code.

I'm probably in this situation, says I'm not eligible to order another table, that I need to call. I wonder if you order another phone it'll start over or you won't be able to order more tablets and be a "wasted" line.
