naaaa...
activated w sim card.
did some surfing using data.
took out sim.
sold as wi fi tablet.
1 person inquired abt using as 5g on metro.
i told them they can , but only after 2 months.

isnt it the case tho (from posts) that if they reset (factory reset?) the tab will require a sim?

could be a ticking time bomb to the customer...presuming they ever factory reset i guess which they may not.

S23 fe is back in stock. It's showing $49 with bringing your number, but when I did that it goes back up to $199. That is so weird.

Thanks! I went ahead and ordered a s23 fe, all is good at the final check out page... total is correct. But the order confirmation showed the full prices and no discounts... oh my goodness.....
Same thing happened to me. Showed $93 on the checkout screen and then once the order went through I was sent an order confirmation showing a total of around $680. Credit card is showing one transaction for $93 and another for $588. I talked to four different agents all of them say there's nothing they can do and I just need to refuse the delivery.

Glad my order didn't go through, because it keeps showing $199.i would call the bank and tell them I got hacked.

I'm done with that. Now, I'm just waiting for Metro to fix the s23 fe glitches.

i played around some more. one thing i discovered is the unable to add line on tablet page is just the cookies. clear metro cookies and it will allow you to add a line, go through checkout etc.

but it still throws the contact cs to complete purchase error for me on final purchase click. i tried some workarounds from here, vpn, adding floor 1 to address (not sure if this supposed to be payment address, shipping address or both). also tried using two different cards besides my main one (couldn't figure out how to get virtual cards that the one guy had success with working, their is no option to turn on in my google settings) but i figure using a different card entirely should have the same effect, unless i used them in the past on metro and they know them all). all still get blocked on final step.

altho i did realize i wasnt using a vpn on some of the methods, like trying different cards, so maybe i need to try everything together. the only other biggie for me yet to try is using a different ship to address.

overall though, it would be trivial to just tie the block to your account which is tied to your metro phone #, so i doubt any of this stuff makes a difference.

I saw that yesterday too, screen shows $89 but after placing order, i got a text from chase to verify whether i just ran a $675 transaction with Metro. Not sure if metro having a bug or they just blacklist my address

I opened up a new BYOD account using a different name and shipping address with a new credit card. Tried to order an A9+ and still got a "call us" message. I'm not even sure how they are tracking my ban (I assume it's a ban).
