I've seen reports for anywhere from 6-12oz a week. I looked it up the last time I bought it.

It's a question of age, body mass, and sensitivity. I had probably a can a day when I was a broke college kid and transitioning out of being a broke college kid in search of affordable protein. Zero side effects. But I would never recommend that to a pregnant lady or a child. Honestly. I wouldn't recommend any broke college kid diet to anyone. But I survived. 🥳

If you're worried about mercury, canned sardines (non-predatory fish) and salmon have less mercury and fill that protein range.Just be cautious if they add oils or mustards.
