A clearance item can be in stock but unavailable for online order and pickup.

That's how it was with the Makita chain saw kits a few months ago. Lots of local stores had them, but you had to walk in to purchase.

Same for me. I snagged one in Fayetteville, GA. It was in the cage/locker area where all the yard tools are. I think there's one other in there. I didn't see the tiller though.

Theres better ones out there that articulate, cut closet to 1" and are more durable.

But for $10 this is a no brainer

Had a few at the local store. Grabbed a couple tillers for 10 and trimmers for 5. Still some left. Most appear to be open box. But for the price of a happy meal...why not?

I think it needs the square drive. My Husqvarna and Greenworks trimmers have it. And so do the HyperTough attachments.

No, quick-lok uses a splined connection vs expand-it squared end.

The official list of capatible attachments includes Craftsman, Cub Cadet, John Deere, McCulloch, MTD Pro, Poulan, Poulan Pro, Toro, Troy-Bilt, Weed Eater, Yard Machine, and Yard Man.

I walked all around the entire store and couldn't find any of these units anywhere. I went to customer service to see if they found any entries anywhere in the store, but they also couldn't find. I went home emptyhanded. Frown

Is it just the hedge trimmer, edger and cultivator/tiller on clearance or ALL expand-it attachments? I.e. leaf blower, pole saw, etc?
