Lenovo offers either 16GB or 32GB of DDR5 RAM in these laptops, and you can save some money by opting for a lower amount of RAM and upgrading later. These laptops should have no problem supporting 64GB of RAM in a dual 32GB setup.

For data analytics, every instance of PowerBI eats up 3gb of RAM, most times than not need multiple instances open which chews up all the system resources

The Legion Slim 7i 4070 max its RAM up to 32 GB because 16 GB is soldered. The Pro one is nice because you can upgrade both RAM slots up to 64. Other than that they are nearly similar. I compared both and went with the slim one because of how sleek and low profile it is for work and school. At this price, the Pro is an excellent choice.

I won't go with this Costco one because the CPU is way weaker.. your getting an AMD 7745HX with is a way weaker CPU than the Intel i9-13900HX CPU. I always say when you are buying a laptop, always go for the BEST CPU and GPU you can get... as those two are not easily upgradable if you can even upgrade them. RAM, NVMe drive etc can easily be upgraded in the future as price drop on them

What do you mean by "better build"? Build quality or specs, because the Dell G16 is not in the same class as the Lenovo Legion with regards to build quality.

Comparing the two right now, with similar specs except 32GB in the G16, the G16 is $1300 vs the Lenovo @ $1400. I don't see OLED as an option to configure the G16 with. The memory in the G16 is SLOW.

10% off code on Dell brings the 32GB G16 down to $1170 for i9/32GB/1TB/4070/QHD+ 240Hz.
