Wurkkos FC13 is one of my favorites. It uses a 18360 battery. I like the larger RGB button and the Anduril 2 user interface which offers many customization options. The body design is interesting, clean, practical and functional for heat dissipation. Also like the contrasting orange front lens retainer ring. The machining is high quality and all the threads are anodized and machined smooth without rough cuts.

This FC13 is a flood type. However, SFT40 has a longer throw, thus more focused beam in the center and less spread, compared to XHP50.2. It's hard to beat at this clearance price.

Advanced mode
• Smooth infinite brightness adjustment or stepped ramp mode
• Sunset mode - auto shutoff timer
• Candle, lightning, tactical strobe, party strobe (very bright), biker flasher modes
• Change RGB button settings - off, low, high, blinking
• Auto lock - prevents accidental on in pocket, backpack, purse, etc. - on turbo setting, it can easily start a fire in the right condition
• Battery check, voltage check, temperature check
• Beacon mode, sos mode
• Version check, factory reset

Note about the larger RGB lighted button:
Not sure if the larger RGB button will be continued on their future lights so if you like the larger RGB button and like this model, you may want to stock up.

Color:
Exterior has a black satin-matte finish

There are three LED emitter options:
• XHP50.2 5000-5300K
wide spread flood, neutral white warm center with slight yellow-green corona, less harsh

• XHP50.2 6000-6500K
wide spread flood, neutral white

• SFT40 6000-6500K
tighter focus, longest throwing, neutral white with faint yellow-green corona

If you are looking for a brighter wider beam for closer task, then go with the XHP50.2 emitter. As for the light temperature, 5000k is neutral white but the center will have a faint greenish-yellowish tint. 6000k will be more white with a bluish tint. The SFT40 emitter will provide the most tint free white but not as much near beam spread/brightness as the XHP50.2 emitter.
• XHP50.2 5000k - warm white with faint greenish-yellowish tint with wider and pleasant close light distribution
• SFT40 6000k - tint free bright purest white; *close* task in *turbo* setting can be harsh with bright focused center; better for critical color discernment

Here's a video comparing the XHP50.2 and SFT40.

One thing they missed on the exterior manufacturing is the emitter/switch section and the body tube (mid-section) does not align like the photo shown. The body tube flat section does not lineup perfectly with the button as shown on the display photo. This can be accomplished if the threading is done consistently on the same location during production. (photos attached). Anyone that has one that aligns perfectly has a winner. You got to be really happy.

If anyone is looking for a compact but a powerful thrower for its size, take a look at the Wurkkos TS11. It uses a compact 18350 battery but if you get a long tube ($2.50), you can convert the light to take the longer lasting and the most common 18650 battery. The price is a little more but if you like a little powerful thrower, you will love it. Design is simple, clean, interesting with functional details. Anodized orange finish with black RGB button looks stunning.

Bonus: TS11 will also allow you to emit various RGB color light in advance mode. There are two modes in Anduril 2 UI - simple and advanced.

You are correct. 18650 battery will increase your run-time and possibly be brighter than using 18350 battery. But mainly think of it as increasing the capacity of the battery. As for charging, yes you can use the USB-C built-in connector to charge the 18650 battery.

Battery length difference with equal diameter
18350 battery > 350 = 35mm
18650 battery > 650 = 65mm
If you are ordering the flashlight and need batteries, be sure to get the light and battery bundle with your order. It's cheaper (currently $3 additional).

If you're ordering just the batteries, you do not have to use the Wurkkos brand as they are not better or cheaper than the reputable brands. As long as they are a good brand with the right specs, they should perform as good or better.

A few recommendations:
• 18650 should be rated 3000mAh or higher
• 18650 3C and not 1C
• Brands: LG, Molicel, Murata, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, Sony and there are few others not mentioned

Note: Wurkkos 18650 are 3C with button top

And is this a trustworthy company? Did a little research and it seems they are based in China. Do they ship from US or China?
Wurkkos is relatively new but they are related to Sofirn both of whom have worked with https://budgetlightforum.com to make a number of custom designed lights based around user input and open source code (anduril). They are trusted and reputable in the flashlight community. known as a budget brand with great quality. They are not a one off random letter brand. They care about their established reputation. They have to deal with winnie the poohs great firewall when they communicate with customers.

They have some items on amazon, some items in us warehouse but mostly comes from china.

I got mine today. Ordered on May 2nd. 4 days excluding weekends. That's faster than some shipments within the US. $21.99 shipped, including a free holster. ST-40 model. Looking forward to comparing to my Sofirn SC31 Pro.

Got mine two days ago. I really like it. Was going to order another for a friend as a gift but unfortunately it's not available anymore. Have to see if it either comes back in stock or maybe goes on sale again in the near future.

I ordered from Wurkkos 10 days ago and it's delivered today. I like their promise so I'll make another purchase with a few more things. They are legitimate, to me.

I've been using this for a few days now alongside my Sofirn SC31 Pro which I paid a similar amount. The FC13 is very nicely made. Subjectively it looks and feels nicer than the SC31. It's slightly brighter with a narrower beam. It also has the multi-colored switch that tells the voltage, which the SC31 does not. Lastly it comes with the two way clip. It's a little thing but handy. So far very happy with the transaction.

Received mine DOA and yes I immediately removed the tag on the battery before charging. charged 3 times with two different charges including the one included with flashlight 12 hours each time. the blinking light was solid (no longer blinking) each time but no light came out of the flashlight. I own two other flashlights from this company and enjoy them but will wait to see how this is addressed before ordering more

Do you have another 18650 battery to try, so you can see if it's the battery or the flashlight?
