Sounds like it's not a deal if it was $89 before. I'll wait until it's $89 again. Nobody "needs" this right now, it's a discretionary purchase. We can wait.
Shut up

It might be worth the extra $20 if you need a larger, more powerful speaker. It only gets very slightly louder than the one woofer JBL, but according to Rtings, there's no compression at max volume on the Klipsch [rtings.com], while there is on the JBL [rtings.com] in the OP. So it has more useable volume.
If you don't need to crank it up to max volume, the JBL gets better reviews for sound quality, and it's more portable. It has significantly deeper bass. It also has mic EQ and echo effects, which is great for karaoke. And it's IP rated for water resistance.
So, all in all, the JBL is probably a better speaker for most folks. But the Klipsh gets a little louder, and is clear at max volume. So might be worth considering for those who need to fill a larger space with sound.
No matter which you get. Buy a decent wireless mic. It's worth it.

Also I paired Partyboxes with my Google TV and video and audio are in sync. However the Klipsch has a slight delay.
You can notice it watching videos but also when watching a karaoke lyrics video on YouTube. The audio out of the speakers are clearly delayed from where the karaoke lyrics highlight. Not too big of a deal but it's there and Partybox has zero delay.
It was meant to be $89 off but someone screwed up.

I'll see if I can find an alternative seller and edit this post.
Edit:
Here is a different listing. I don't have experience with this particular seller but reviews seem ok.

I have not figured out how the change the echo effects on the JBL encore essential.

What mics are you using? The essential from this deal doesn't have echo control as far as I can tell. The one that comes with mics does have it build in.
