Presumably because "looks similar" has no predictive value whatsoever with regard to quality. Unless you have something showing they are from the same manufacturer, there are many, many yellow leather work gloves that look similar. (A search of HF shows they do not sell Wells Lamont gloves.)

I got 3 pairs of these in large last time this deal was going.
I found the style with the red tie strap to be a good fit for me. The other glove was a tighter fit and a bit uncomfortable when I flexed, but they should be good for someone with a bit smaller hands.

Do you mind sharing how big the circumference of your hands around the palm are? I have slightly smaller hands so I usually have to get medium, but if you say they fit small hands I might pull the trigger on these.
