Looks like only certain Costco locations are offering the 48" for $700 and 55" for $800 so far. Hoping more locations start updating the price.

Does one need to be a Costco member for buying it in store?

Also, does one need to be a member for all the 5 years to be able to claim the coverage Costco provides?

I'm looking online at where I can pick up these tv's, and some of them say "low stock" while others say "in stock"... I wonder if the ones that say low stock are the ones that have the clearance going on while the in stock stores are the ones that haven't put for sale signs out yet?

My costco says its $100 off so $999 still. I am relatively close to OP's location. It looks like a slow trend to sales. Same price apparently for the other 3 costco locations. Gonna have to wait for $700.

I think there is some truth here. The low stock ones had $100 near me.

Can you upload a photo of the price tag by chance or could anyone?

Doubtful. Just save your paperwork.

For reference, I bought a 55" C2 at costco on clearance last year for $499 so hopefully they will go down that low this year.

The C3 is too dim to use in a sun lit room. C4 is brighter, don't know if that is bright enough.
Have a 65" C3 in a sunlit room and it handles the light and reflections beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised because I went in expecting worse.
