Sunlu has a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" offer for their water washable 3D printer resin. If you add 3 bottles of their water washable resin to your cart, you'll get one bottle for free. So the total price is $31.98 for 3 bottles, which comes out to $10.66 per 1000g bottle.
The MOQ of 6 in the title there can be ignored.
Be sure to select the USA warehouse option first, then pick the WaterWash Standard Resin 1000G and add the colors you want to your cart.

Water washable resin doesn't require IPA for post-processing. You can simply rinse off the excess resin with water. It's compatible with all the common 405nm resin 3D printers. I use it a lot with my Creality Halot Plus, it prints fine.
The following colors are availabe: Orange, gray, dark gray, white, black, transparent green, green, beige

For a printer with a mono LCD, the recommended settings are:
  • 1.5s to 3.5s exposure
  • 10-60s bottom layer exposure
The resin has these properties:
  • Hardness: 80-85D
  • Shrinkage: 6-8%
  • Flexural Strength: 35-55MPa
  • Viscosity: 150-350mPas
  • Density: 1.06-1.16g/cm³
  • Flexural Modulus: 1500-1600MPa

So...I've basically quit using my resin printer just because I've gotten tired of having to deal with the post processing. That, and with a BL printer, apart from some fine miniatures I can do most of what a resin can do in PLA anyway.

But I've seen a couple crazy good resin offers lately. Has the market for them cratered or something?

does this smell less than normal resin? I've been out of the loop on resin for a couple years. The resin and IPA smells were an issue, I was hoping to one day install an extractor fan, but are water washable resins a good alternative?

From what I saw when I dealt with water washable resins...they don't smell less, they don't cure quite as well, and thinking "water washable = safer" is way wrong.

Plus with water washable it doesn't mean you can rinse in the sink...the resin still should NOT go down the drain. IMO harder to deal with than IPA which you can just let evaporate and harden the resin that remains in the wash.

Also, the buy2 get 1 sale works on the regular resin as well! (just not the ABS like)

I wish I would have spotted this sooner before many were out of stock!

In for 12kg regular resin for <$11/kg!

I can't comment on this resin but I did install a printable fan exhaust set up for my Mars 3. It actually works great and completely eliminated the fumes while printing. I still hate working with resin though and I don't need the resolution as I usually print structural parts so I've pretty much shelved the machine

Awesome thanks. I haven't used my resin printer since getting my bambu last year but I'll find something cool to print for this price!
