Lowest price ever on Amazon according to the camels. Just in time too, because my ROG Ally was in need of more space and my SD card reader is bunk (as most are).

I'm not sure my SD card reader ever worked. Now I'm stuck with a 1.5tb micro sd from one of the deals here earlier. Didn't realize the sd card reader wasn't working until I tried the 1.5tb card. Might pull the trigger on this.

The whole situation is so frustrating. I read that it was primarily poor ventilation frying the cards and that they fixed the issue with a firmware update, but I'd never used an SD card in it until recently and I couldn't even format a 512gb card without it erroring out after multiple tries.
Seems like upgrading the nvme drive is the only way to go with the Ally.

Yeah, it is very frustrating. When my Micro sd card was not being read I thought the card was the issue, but then I tried using my usb-c micro sd card adapter and the Alley immediately recognized the card. Too bad I need the usb-c port to charger when gaming for AAA titles.
What kind of thermal solution would be required for a PlayStation 5?
Sony doesn't want these installed without heat sinks, but, then, it's so impossibly small and I don't know where to find a heatsink for it.

It's not worth it for PS5. The 2280 size is cheaper and has more board/dissipation area as well as ram options, on these I think they are all ramless because there's no space to put that and barely enough for controller and NAND.
