Because it's a lot easier to press a button that's in a better placement than having to twist yourself to see the buttons on the side and bang your elbow while trying to press them. And it gets ore difficult as you get older. The placement is so much easier to reach.

I dont understand this argument. Are you trying to wash your SO's ass from the other room? Why is having the control panel right next to you inconvenient?

I can tell you that if you use your rice cooker to cook meals (more than just rice), and you don't clean it for years... you will appreciate having a bidet. Not that I would know anything about this.

Isn't it the same model which Costco sells for $359 online and $349 at club throughout the year? Looks similar. Costco model number T1SW3014

I've always heard that Toto bidets are great quality... but not having a wireless remote you can place anywhere is a bit of a deal-breaker for me. It's so nice being able to put the remote holster anywhere with my BioBidet.

It's fun to take the remote, go to bed with it... and then execute order 66 right after the SO takes a seat in the master bathroom before noticing that the remote is gone. You only get away with this once or twice though...
