I have this mouse and experienced scroll wheel issues. I finally got tired of it after trying to fix it and replaced the mouse with a Logitech G600 from ebay.

This is the same price direct from Corsair that I've seen on sale for at least a month or so.

The Best Buy aspect of this deal is good though, nice to have a B&M you can buy and return without a hassle if you don't like the product.

I fell in love with this mouse so much that I gave it a pass after the scroll wheel had issues the first time and bought another.

When the second had the issue, I took it apart and did the fixes in the first post. It worked, but only for a few months before I'd have to repeat.

TL;DR: no maintenance > comfort > buttons for me. Ended up with a Razer Basilisk v3.

I've had this mouse since 2019 and have used it primarily for MMORPG gaming. Unlike others in this post, I haven't had any issues with the scroll wheel. However, the matte finish has begun to wear and peel off. Nevertheless, this is my favorite mouse due to the fact that the number pad on the side is adjustable (which moves forward and backwards). This is particularly comfortable for me as most other mouse's number pads tend to be too far forward for my liking.

For reference, I also have the SteelSeries Aerox 9, MX Master 2 and 3, G900, and G602. Thanks OP!

I liked the Logitech G series until the padding underneath the mouse started to wear and tear. Useless after that. Went to Utech smart Venus pro, wireless and never had issues 2 yrs strong. Great for my aarpg fix with more than 12 programable buttons

I owned this mouse for a couple years and had an issue with the left click after a while. It just would not register a click unless I pressed down super hard. Got rid of it and went back to my G600 which has had zero issues. I really wanted to love this mouse as it has some nice features like the adjustable thumb pad, but unfortunately it crapped out on me.

Also, one feature that the g600 has that the scimitar doesn't is that the mouse wheel can be tilted left and right to act as a back and forward function. Super useful when browsing the Internet!

I have owned so many Corsair mice, and they ALL experienced scroll wheel issues after six months. I used to mess around with Corsair's warranty/replacement program, but after sending back three mice, I gave up and bought something else. It wasn't worth the time, waiting, and having to run around to ship the old/broken mice back. I love this mouse's MOBA/MMO buttons, but I'm staying far away from it.

This mouse is great and lasted me longer than a lot of Razer Nagas I had in the same time period, but I've always had the scroll issue. It's pretty annoying. I had hope the wireless would fix this but from everything I've heard it's the same. Would still recommend this as a great MMO mouse.

I got this from Amazon warehouse for like $20 1.5 years ago. It was brand new. Have used it to play countless games and haven't had any issues with it, whatsoever. The buttons feel nice, and the mouse is responsive.

I'd be interested in a mouse that uses the magnetic switches, and a magnetic scroll wheel, and some magnetic extra buttons. I'm not MLG pro gamer to use more than one or two extra buttons though...

They finally did it, those maniacs. They stopped production of the best mouse ever created.

I only have one backup in my closet Frown
