Not better or worse. But it just has slower digestion rate vs whey protein. So ideal if you do intermittent fasting or something.
In diabetes type 2 the issue is the body making too much insulin but being resistant to it. Working out helps reduce that resistance so your overall blood glucose decreases. More muscle = less insulin resistance and this helps build more muscle.
High glucose is what causes all the problems in diabetes. You must've been prescribed a medication. Just make sure it doesn't have hypoglycemia as a side effect. Because in diabetics the amount of insulin and glucose can be erratic. And there is no miracle drug for this and neither does it mean you will suffer. Just keep working out getting healthier and your glucose levels will go down.

Also.....10% slower released or 50% released?
Trying to figure out who this is geared towards thanks
Step one is talk to a doctor before starting anything. You need to know what to watch out for; I wouldn't buy stuff made for young, healthy, non-beetus'd persons without consulting with a professional.
I would even skip the supplements and just focus on eating balanced meals until you hit a plateau in progress.
You'd drink it before your fasting window begins, so you might wake up a little less hungry than before, but there will still be plenty of time for your body to process your stomach contents for energy and the reserves surrounding your hamstrings and glutes.
