Costco will win 99% of the time. If you break down the per diaper price, you'd need Target or other retailers to offer a gift card promo and stack that with other coupons/offer apps (Ibotta, Shopkick, P&G Brand rebates, etc) to get to or possibly beat Costco.

Additionally, the Costco Huggies are Huggies+ which are more absorbent than the Huggies you'll get at otehr stores.

Also, this is a duplicate thread as this deal started a few weeks ago.
i stock up when kirkland costco diaper on sale
This seems an abuse of the generous Costco return policy. Buy what you need (even if that means buying lower quantities from other stores) rather than sticking Costco with the cost of processing and likely disposing your open, partially used diaper boxes that have no issue besides your judgement.

I have Coterie and Millie Moon, baby is currently Size 3. I think Coterie is best but Millie Moon second and i like the way they feel.

I tried Huggies and it wasn't very absorbant (i could feel the pee after 2 hours). How much better is Huggies Plus?

I'm looking to use a day time diaper where i know ill be changing every 2-3 hours, Coterie is only for night because its $$$

I stock up because you have an unbeatable return policy. Even open box returns aslong as it is more the 50% of the diaper quantity. Usually do not have any issues returning when baby is transitioning between sizes.

A newbie to diaper process. Can someone help to understand where can we get diapers at better price. Is it target during offers or Costco or anywhere else?
I'd find the diapers that work best for your baby and then look at price. Huggies always gave us blow outs but Pampers don't so for us we have a Sam's club membership to get Pampers there where they are the cheapest. Don't just go for the cheapest on diapers. Not having to deal with blow outs is worth the extra cents you'll spend on each diaper.

You should donate them at that point. Costco is just going to throw them away and pretty much every shelter is begging for diapers and will take open boxes. Also you're abusing Costco at that point, pretty messed up.

Costco's Huggies + diapers win over any other diaper. Don't let anyone tell you they are the same as others, because they are not. These are the best ones. If you can afford it and stock up I highly recommend doing that. It would save you a lot of money. I want to say this sale happens maybe 3 times a year. Maybe? 🤔

I have five kids, three of whom still wear diapers, so I feel qualified to answer this. Target Up&Up are the best deal. They are pretty good diapers. Target has a $30 gift card with a $100 baby item purchase twice a year. Using wipes to get at almost exactly $100, I often make two or three orders each time. Combine this with at least 2% cashback and buying Target gift cards at 10% off is the best deal out there.

I agree with this. I started with the Kirkland when my baby was a size 1-2 but as soon as she started crawling and got into a 3 I wasn't impressed with the Kirkland. She was getting a ton of blowouts and leaking issues so we switched and it seemed to help a lot. Now we buy extras during sales and it's a pretty good deal. The Kirkland on sale is going to be your best bet if you're stretching your budget and they're still pretty good diapers so don't feel pressured into spending more but I think the Huggies are better if you can afford it.

As others have said, the Costco diapers, especially on sale, will always win. Only time they don't is when secondipity also has a sale
Discovered secondipity right after my son was born. Always my go to for Huggies diapers. These are most of the time unopened/returned amazon orders discounted 10$ to15$ for the 200packs, usually.

Kirkland diapers are made by Huggies (Kimberly-Clark Corp)… the per diaper price is cheaper for Kirkland brand than even when Costco has the Huggies on sale (size 4: 24¢ for 174@$41.99 sale for Huggies vs 23¢ for 198@$44.99 regular price Kirkland).

I've used both and they feel same quality and Kirkland is even cheaper when they are on sale twice a year.

Yeah but not all Huggies are created equal. I think the Plus are more absorbent and I can't tell you what it is but it seems to keep the blowouts contained better too.
