FWIW, Tom's Hardware GPU Hierarchy 2024, which is based on a range of 8 games, lists the 1080 at 34.4% the speed of a 4090, with the 6750xt at 66.8% (102.9 fps vs 53.0 fps at 1080p Ultra) (77.2 fps vs 39.4 fps at 1440p Ultra).

I also looked up to compare because of a used deal available locally, this is slightly better than the 4060 Ti 16Gb (MSRP $500): https://tech4gamers.com/rtx-4060-...x-6750-xt/ I'd rather get this new than a used card, albeit it is less efficient
The 1080 COULD do 4K but it was always really the best 1080p card you could get at the time.
Games have gotten a lot more demanding since then so try running cyberpunk at top settings without the AMD version of DLSS. Also, try ray tracing and see what happens then.

GPU comparisons are significantly more complex than some percentage difference, especially comparing Nvidia to AMD.
Also, if you aren't comparing raster against raster, it's not a fair comparison anyways.
If you guys want this card, buy it by all means… but don't act like it is some world-beating 4K gaming card. It's not

This chart has the 6700xt not 6750xt in it. So add 3-5 frames to make up the overclock and extra power draw the 6750xt pulls.
The nice thing about stuff like this is that the raw data is easy to find…now it's even easier!
(Also I originally downvoted your post, and after further reflection, I have rescinded that. The 1080ti is a great card, and IF you already have one, moving to the 6750xt wouldn't be my first choice (6800xt /7800xt would be mine for amd or 3080/4070 for Intel as a 1080p/1440p true successor)
